Before Town Meeting · Updated Nov. 3, 2026
The meeting opens Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. Additional sessions are scheduled Nov. 9 and 12, with Nov. 16 reserved if needed. The signed warrant contains 45 articles. All Town Meeting results below are still pending.
  • Select Board recommendations: The board recommended favorable action on 15 articles: 4, 5, 6, 10–15, 25, 27 and 34–37. It had recommended unfavorable action on none, according to a Chronicle summary that gives no meeting date or vote tally. That list excludes consent-agenda articles, except Article 27. It does not mention Article 26, the Forest Ridge taking, which has no Select Board recommendation on the record.
  • The Oct. 16 motions book is a draft. It includes blanks, dollar errors and conflicting vote thresholds.
  • Planning Board hearings are scheduled Oct. 27; the Town Manager hearing is Oct. 28 at 6 p.m.
  • “TBA” means a final recommendation was not established in the reviewed documents. Sponsorship and discussion do not establish a vote.

What remains open
Final motions and article-by-article Finance Committee recommendations were not found in the Oct. 23 review. Select Board vote tallies were not found. Forest Ridge has no Select Board recommendation on the record, and its later appraisal and final financing remain gaps. Church Street’s majority-versus-two-thirds threshold, the Ledges release threshold and Raymond Place’s district designation need clarification. Article 33 software funding and Article 44 levy relief have no completed draft amount. Stakes colors are editorial groupings based on money, land use and policy impact.
